Molecular Development Grants, due 1/30/17

The Department of Pharmacology and Toxology has established a pilot program of Molecular Development Grants to support drug discovery or chemical applications with commercial potential. They expect to support ~$100K in the first round of pilot support. Environmental Health & Safety Courses Moving to New System

As part of a collaboration to combine required training under a single secure portal, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) courses are moving to the Saba training system. The course links on the EHS website will soon pass trainees to the MSU NetID login portal.  Users can access topics from Asbestos to Water Protection by logging in with their MSU NetID and password. NIH Salary Cap $185K - Jan. 10, 2016

The National Institutes of Health has released notice NOT-OD-16-045 indicating that the salary cap will be increasing to $185,100 effective January 10, 2016. Please note, when creating a budget that includes faculty on Academic Year (AY) appointments, the capped amount for the academic year is $138,825, and $46,275 during the summer. NIH App Changes, as of Jan. 25, 2016

NIH has released an updated SF424 (R&R) Application Guide to be used for proposals with due dates on and between January 25, 2016 and May 24, 2016.
