Molecular Development Grants, due 1/30/17

The Department of Pharmacology and Toxology has established a pilot program of Molecular Development Grants to support drug discovery or chemical applications with commercial potential. They expect to support ~$100K in the first round of pilot support.

Deadline: Jan. 30, 2017

Maximum grant size: $30K

Goal: Provide MSU faculty with access to the new drug discovery cores (Assay Development and High Throughput Screening,  Med Chem, and In Vivo Facility - https://phmtox.msu.edu/facilities/).

From these pilot grants, 90 percent of funds should go toward core use. Interested faculty members should work with the director of the particular core that you intend to use in developing your project and budget. Core contacts are listed in the Michigan State University Molecular Discovery Group (MSU-MDG) Request for Application.

Please use the Pilot Grant Template to apply.

For general questions contact Edmund Ellsworth (517 884-8816 or ellswo59@msu.edu). Applications should be sent to Tom Dexheimer (dexheim1@msu.edu).
