Designing Participatory Mixed-Methods Research Projects

03/30/2017 - 04/01/2017

Three-day Workshop
Designing Participatory Mixed-Methods Research:
Community-Engaged Approaches to Address Complex Problems

University of Michigan, Ann Arbor

The workshop will help the researchers work through their project, as they will have time to work on their own project throughout the day and receive feedback from our mixed methods and participatory research consultants, including John W. Creswell, who wrote the definitive book on mixed methods research.

Register at http://www.mixedmethods.org/workshops.html. (Click to open print-friendly flyer.)

Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion. Registration is $1,600 per participant, but a discount is available if a researcher registers with a community partner. In this case, the two can register for $2,000. A community partner would be someone the researcher participant is working with for their project in the community, often from the community organization.

The organizers ask that the participant who wants to register as a team to submit the community partner's name, organization and brief explanation of their involvement in the research project. There are 40 slots, and once full, registration will close.
